2009-09-03 New Amatix Office release

Amatix Office was redesigned. It has been upgraded to the Debian Lenny distribution and the telephony part was integrated into eGroupWare. Check the screenshots here.


2007-01-31 Calling card software added to Amatix InstantPBX

Since the 0.9-1 release, the calling card software Asterisk2Billing has been added to Amatix InstantPBX.


2006-11-23 More flexibility for the deployment of Amatix Office and Amatix InstantPBX

Since the 0.8-1 release, more customisation parameters have been added to the both Amatix distributions. The services may be started/stopped, and using more instances of the Amatix Office/Amatix InstantPBX, the services can be distributed on several PCs.


2006-07-21 The eGroupWare has been added to Amatix Office

Since the 0.7-2 release, the groupware software eGroupWare and a complete email system, implemented using the Postfix SMTP server and the Dovecot IMAP server, with virtual mailboxes using the eGroupWare accounts, has been added to Amatix Office.


2006-05-30 The IAX2 has been added to Amatix InstantPBX

Since the 0.7-1 release, you may add and configure IAX2 trunks and extensions on the Amatix InstantPBX.


2006-03-19 The Amatix Office has now an advanced traffic shaping module

Since the 0.6-2 release, the QoS module from the mhaddons has been added to the IPCop firewall included in the Amatix Office.


2006-02-16 The Amatix Office replaces the Amatix GUI

Since the 0.6-1 release, the IPCop firewall has been added to the Amatix GUI. Our distribution may be used now as a router/firewall/PBX, so it is now not just a Graphical User Interface (GUI) extension for the Amatix InstantPBX, it is a distribution targeted on the small offices. This is the reason why we have changed its name from Amatix GUI to Amatix Office.


2005-12-26 The Amatix InstantPBX has now a complete fax support

Since the 0.5-2 release, the Amatix InstantPBX can be used to send PDF or TIFF files by fax.


2005-12-15 The Amatix InstantPBX receives faxes

Since the 0.5-1 release of the Amatix InstantPBX, we have added the spandsp library in order to receive faxes. The incoming faxes are stored in TIFF format and they can be managed using a webbrowser.


2005-11-01 The Amatix InstantPBX supports now the NT operation mode and the P2P protocol

Since the 0.4-1 release of the Amatix InstantPBX, the configuration of the HFC-S cards has been extended with the operation mode (TE/NT) and the protocol (P2MP/P2P) parameters. Using the NT operation mode, you can connect ISDN phones to the Amatix InstantPBX and they will act like normal extensions.


2005-06-26 The disk installer is available now!

Since the 0.3-1 release of the Amatix GUI, the graphical disk installer can be used to permanently store the Amatix distribution on your storage device. More details about the disk installation can be found here.


2005-05-28 The Amatix InstantPBX supports now multiple Fritz! PCI ISDN controllers

Since the 0.2-10 release of the Amatix InstantPBX, we have patched the AVM's CAPI4Linux drivers in order to support multiple Fritz! PCI ISDN controllers.


2005-05-25 The first public release of the Amatix GUI

Amatix GUI extends the Amatix InstantPBX with a ready to run SIP softphone. The installed softphone is preconfigured for the extension 700. In this way, you can place and receive calls without any additional hardware or any additional configuration. The Asterisk PBX and the Linphone are running on the same computer.


2005-04-25 The first public release of the Amatix InstantPBX

Amatix InstantPBX will instantly transform your computer in a small PBX. You don't have to install any software, just plug the Amatix CD in your CD drive and let the computer boot from it. In few minutes you will get a running Linux system with a configured Asterisk PBX.
